Sexual and Reproductive Health Knowledge of In-school Adolescents: A Comparative Study of Visually Impaired and Non-visually Impaired Students

Adolescents’ Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) knowledge is important for preventing SRH problems enabling young people to live a healthy sexual life. This study assessed the differences in between visually impaired (VI) non-visually (N-VI) adolescents; examined factors contributing two groups. The was conducted Ondo State, Nigeria using multi-stage sampling technique select 394 in-school adolescents aged 15-19 years. Quantitative data were collected Open Data Kit (ODK). Models fitted with Ordered Logistic Regression (OLR) Stata 14. Results showed that 89% of N-VI compared 66% VI had good access information, while 63.4% 40.3% poor knowledge. Students information more likely have better knowledge, although relationship stronger than VI. OLR results further respondents who about 116% their counterparts (OR = 2.163; C1:1.41–3.32).
